A Princeton couple is celebrating a $500,000 windfall after purchasing a lottery ticket for June 1, from the Petro-Canada station on Bridge Street.
Albert and Rollande Wilton haven’t made any special plans, but do intend to continue their usual hobbies of watching movies together and fishing.
Albert had some extra fun with Rollande, by first telling her they won just $100.
“We were at home and about to head to bed,” said Albert.
After Albert revealed that they really won $500,000, they shared the news with their sons.
“They didn’t believe us,” said Rollande.
The Wiltons won the prize on the ‘Extra’ draw attached to Lotto 649, which requires matching four numbers.
