Princeton Atoms take silver!

Local tournament had lots of excitement

There was a silver lining this weekend for Princeton’s Minor Posse Atom team.

The young players skated to second place in a tournament on home ice, winning three games along the way and losing a hard fought battle with Castlegar in the final.

The home team beat Cloverdale 10-2, crushed Salmon Arm 10-1, and won over Grand Forks 10-3.

In Sunday’s gold medal game they came up short against Castlegar, losing 10-7.
