UPDATE: Power restored to all homes affected by Penticton outage

Around 175 homes were affected by the outage by late Friday afternoon

Homes within an eastern neighbourhood in Pentnicton, near Penticton Avenue, are currently affected by a power outage.

UPDATE: Sept. 6, 4:05 p.m.

City officials say power has been restored for all homes affected by an early Friday afternoon outage within an eastern neighbourhood of Penticton.

The power outage was originally said to have been affecting around 300 homes near Penticton Avenue and McPherson Place. By 4 p.m., however, officials said it was affecting 175 homes before power was restored.

A power outage on Friday is affecting around 300 homes within an eastern neighbourhood of Penticton.

City officials say crews are on-site conducting repairs near Penticton Avenue and McPherson Place, as of 1:50 p.m.

The issue may take two hours to resolve and updates will provided as soon as they are available, the city added.
