Police investigated two break-ins in the area, in the past week.

On Sunday a resident of Taylor Way returned home to discover his shed and home had been entered.

According to RCMP Sergeant Barry Kennedy a wide range of items was stolen including laundry soap and shampoo, a variety of tools, and a set of winter tires on rims.

The value of the stolen items is estimated at $1,100.

A second incident was reported Monday, by a seasonal resident on Princeton Summerland Road. The homeowner said the gate to his property was lifted, and he discovered two safes, broken open, in his backyard.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call RCMP at 250-295-6911.
