A 19-year-old Princeton man was arrested October 6 for stealing - from the town’s volunteer firefighters.

Corporal Chad Parsons said RCMP are recommending charges of break and enter following a series of incidents that took place in May.

“We had received a report of break and enters that were happening at the volunteer fire department. Cash was going missing, food and snacks and stuff like that.”

Firefighters rigged a camera inside the station and captured someone on video, he said. Parsons said the suspect is not a firefighter, but appears to have managed to find a way to enter the building when it was unoccupied.
