Kelowna RCMP seek witnesses after elderly woman hit by pickup truck

Kelowna RCMP is seeking additional witnesses after a pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck on Sept. 29.

Police responded to an incident involving a Red Dodge pickup and an elderly woman at the 1100 block of Sutherland Avenue, between Capri Street and Gordon Drive, at around 3:35 p.m.

RCMP interviewed multiple witnesses on scene but there is a possibility that additional witnesses have yet to come forward, police said.

People who have either not spoken to police or possess dash camera recordings that could help with the investigation are asked to contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and reference file number 2023-58406.

Police say that no further information will be released during the investigation.
