Kelowna RCMP looking for man involved in altercation with youth at bus stop

There is no concern for public safety, according to the RCMP

Kelowna RCMP are investigating an altercation that recently happened between a youth and an adult.

On Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 4 p.m., officers responded to the altercation taking place on a BC Transit bus at the UBCO bus exchange.

As a result, the male youth suffered minor injuries and was provided first aid by members of the public and UBCO security before he was transferred to hospital for assessment by emergency services.

Based on evidence and information throughout the investigation so far, RCMP believe this is a isolated incident. There is no concern for public safety.

RCMP are investigating the matter and looking to identify the man. Anyone who witnessed the altercation is to call the RCMP at 250-762-3300 with the file number 2024-51881.
