Election forum for Keremeos mayor and Cawston director candidates

The Similkameen Country Development Association will be hosting an election forum for candidates in the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen and Village of Keremeos.

The election forum will be held at 7 p.m. on Sept. 20 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #192 hall in Keremeos.

Candidates who will be on the ballots in RDOS Area B, Cawston, and in the Village of Keremeos will be on hand to take questions from the chamber and public.

The public can submit questions online at similkameencountry.org/elections-forum-2022/ or by emailing chamber@similkameencountry.org. Questions can be submitted until Sept. 18.

For Keremeos, Arlene Arlow and Jason Wiebe will be present as candidates for mayor.

For Area B, George Bush and Joe Domijan will be present as candidates for RDOS director.

The four council positions for Keremeos will be filled by acclamation, but those candidates will also be present to introduce themselves to the public.
