A driver and passenger received minor injuries in a single vehicle roll over on Highway 3 Monday morning.

Witnesses to the accident said the vehicle swerved, apparently, to avoid hitting a small animal, according to RCMP Corporal Chad Parsons.

They were transported to Princeton General Hospital.

The accident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. near Darcy Mountain Road.

Parsons said the animal was described as being the size of the dog, and could have been coyote.
