Two care aides at a Penticton retirement home have taken it upon themselves to add some cheer to seniors lives in difficult times.
Chrissy Slater and Laryssa Canduro were inspired to dress-up in wild costumes every Friday to “make light” of the coronavirus and give seniors some much needed comic relief and entertainment.
The idea has been a hit with the residents at Haven Hill, bringing smiles and cheer.
The creative costumes range from cars to brides to be.
The two plan to continue the tradition with new costumes every Friday for the foreseeable future.
