The Kelowna RCMP is currently investigating what they have labelled a "serious motor vehicle incident" at the intersection of Mountain Avenue and Glenmore Road in the southbound lane.
The road is completely blocked to southbound traffic and drivers are being rerouted while RCMP conduct their investigation. Vehicles are being detoured from Glenmore onto High Road and Summit Drive.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Sept. 10.
While Glenmore Northbound remains open at this time, the RCMP asks that people avoid the area and to expect congestion.

A car crash at Glenmore Road and Mountain Avenue in Kelowna is stalling the afternoon drive home.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene just before 4:50 p.m.
Details of the crash are unknown at this time, but ambulances are on scene.
