Celebrate National Aboriginal Day in Princeton’s town square

The whole community is invited

Traditional dance is just one of the highlights of the event

Princeton is celebrating National Aboriginal Day Thursday, beginning at 11 a.m. in Veteran’s Square.

Everyone is welcome to experience traditional games, hand drumming with elders, a pow wow dance and Metis jig.

You can also try bannock, tour the museum and there is face painting for the kids.

The event runs until 3 p.m.
