Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen releases recreation guide

Numerous winter programs will be offered in early 2025

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen has released its winter recreation guide, covering activities from January to March, 2025.

Registration for the winter programs opened on Wednesday, Dec. 11.

The Winter Regional Recreation Guide features many programs, events and facility options for the public. These range from after-school programs and outdoor ice rink activities to climbing wall sessions and yoga and fitness classes for adults.

This year, the regional district’s recreation department is including some new programs. These include Move to the Beat, Active Kids Sports Sampler and Table Tennis.

Other programs include whittling, dancing, quilting and pickleball.

Special events will be planned for the Family Day long weekend, Feb. 15 to 17.
