Princeton residents will take time to honour those who served in past wars and conflicts during the community’s Remembrance Day ceremony on Nov. 11.
The event will be held at 11 a.m. in Veterans’ Square.
It will begin with a parade led by Princeton RCMP and a Princeton Legion colour party.
The laying of the wreaths will follow. Ron MacKay, a member of the Princeton Legion, said more than 140 wreaths will be placed at the cenotaph.
“It’s huge for a little town like this,” he said.
Attendance at the ceremony is expected to be large, with up to 700 people attending, he said.
Following the ceremony, many will stop at the Legion, which is near Veterans’ Square.
