Riverside Beats during Arts and Culture Week

Nankama African Drumming Concert on Saturday, April 16

Since 2006 the Princeton Community Arts Council has celebrated Arts and Culture Week at Riverside Centre.

It began with an open house that year and in 2007, the first production of the Princeton Performing Arts Group with “The Mousetrap”. The following week in April, Ballet Kelowna performed on the gym floor to a packed house.

Who could have imagined that in 2011 Riverside Centre would be the venue for a Pow Wow?

The Princeton Community Arts Council would again like you to join with us in celebrating “Arts and Culture Week” April 10 to 16, 2011 at our cultural venue, Riverside Centre.

Tickets for the Nankama African Drumming Concert on Saturday, April 16 are available at the Sunflower Gallery on Vermilion Avenue, where the work of local artists is for sale.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
