The Marron Valley Girls Drill Team will be in attendance at the 46th Annual Princeton and District Agricultural Fall Fair on Sunday

After thrilling and delighting audiences through out the Okanagan during 2010, The Marron Valley Girls, aged 10 - 17, are going from strength to strength  every time they saddle up.

In a flurry of hooves, flying tails and uniforms, they will take your breath away as they  enter  the arena in perfect sync, and performing creative movements to music.

You will be at the edge of your seat watching some of the more complicated maneuvers, and,  will be on your feet cheering for their obvious dedication and teamwork.

Come and cheer our cowgirls, and their trusty horses on, for their performance at the Princeton Fair Grounds on September 04,  2011.

Team Penning, a very exciting and fast paced western equestrian sport, evolved from ranching work, will also be taking place that day.

A team of three riders on horseback enter the arena and must separate three specifically identified cattle from a herd of thirty, take them to the other end of the arena, and put them into a small pen.  Teamwork is the key to cutting out the correct cattle and keeping the rest of the herd back, and must be completed in ninety seconds.

It’s not as easy as it sounds, and often times the cattle triumph over the riders.  It’s great entertainment for the whole family.
