Princeton Parks, Recreation and Culture have teamed up with the Princeton Posse Tour Bus to offer a variety of fun adventureous trips that are great for families, kids and youth this summer.

An evening featuring talent and fundraising was held at the Legion on Thursday, June 2.

Murder and mayhem have been foremost in the minds of some of the students at Vermilion Forks School as of late. They have been studying the fine details of forensic science through a fun team project. Teachers Shar Anderson and Georgina Tarswell started off this section of the Grade 7 Science Studies with the basic steps of forensics and from there the kids have been able to come up with some interesting stories of criminal intrigue.

Grassroots takes on a whole new meaning under the leadership of Princeton Secondary School teacher Gordon Bibby. Bibby identified a small plot of land that needed some help and got busy.

The Princeton group of Canadian Mothers for the Kids of Japan had another successful event this past weekend with a charity garage sale. The local group was overwhelmed with the generosity of donations the people of Princeton contributed; this made the garage sale a HUGE success

Although Otter Valley Fish and Game Club Big Buck Awards event was not held as usual, all awards were presented.

It’s coming, it’s coming. No it isn’t a train, but rather that latest addition to the ever-changing community of Princeton. A sneak peak of the new museum is all there is until July 1, 2011 when the official opening takes place.

The forest is a huge part of nature. Its survival affects the environment in a big way. An invitation by Vermilion Forks School to Weyerhaeuser Princeton to come and speak to the students about habitat was met with a big yes by the corporation.
