Watch for spring fashions at the Hospital Auxiliary

Thrift store spring change over will be on April 5 and 6.

The March meeting of the Princeton Hospital Auxiliary was opened by President Char Smith at 1 p.m., with 27 members present.

It was announced by Thrift Store manager Ann Middleton that our spring change over will be on April 5 and 6. So, look forward to all our spring and summer fashions on Wed., April 10.

Dianne Easterling made us a new revised version of Thrift Shop policy and our daily store closing procedure. Thanks Dianne.

Karen Ayling reported that Keisha Miller is doing a wonderful job as a candy striper at Ridgewood Lodge. We hear the residents love having her around.

We received thanks from Community Services for our support of Meals on Wheels, which we hope to continue this year again with their shortfall.

We were also asked to consider purchasing a new community tub for Vermilion Court in the future.

Sandy Wilson was awarded her 5 year pin by President Char Smith. Congratulations Sandy.

Patty Vinthers spoke to us on new criteria for applicants for our $2,000 bursary given out at grad to a deserving student going into the medical field. She also spoke to us with information on Meals on Wheels. Patty seems able to dig up a wealth of interesting and accurate information for us to think about and digest at nearly every meeting! We have such knowledgeable members to keep us on our toes. Thank you Patty.

Betty Reheis was the lucky winner of our monthly prize, a lovely plant.

Next meeting is on Monday April 8 at 1 p.m., in the hospital boardroom.

Come and join a great group of volunteers. Free Coffee!
