Edith M. Currie celebrates her 95th birthday on Tuesday

Edith M. Currie has lived the ranch life since the day she was born. She came to Princeton in 1940 to teach school, met and married a young cowboy named Doug Currie.

The couple became well known and respected members of the community. They were avid supporters of Princeton events, especially that of Princeton Racing Days. The Currie family played an integral role in its success.

In January of this year, Mrs. Currie was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of her years of dedicated service to the community.

Mrs. Currie celebrates her 95th Birthday on Tuesday. She says, “I don’t need a fuss.”

No fuss Mrs. Currie, just a special birthday greeting from your family, friends and your community.

You are a blessing and today, we celebrate you.
