Princeton to host presentation on national park benefits

The presentation will focus on the economic benefits and community development opportunities that can result from of a national park.

Princeton and Hedley are hosting presentations that will focus on the economic benefits, community development opportunities and job development that can result from the establishment of a national park.

Chloe O`Loughlin from Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society will present the business case for the South Okanagan-Similkameen national park reserve.

Meeting locations and dates:

Princeton: Tuesday, April 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m at the Riverside Centre – 148 Hedley Road.

Hedley: Tuesday, April 3 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Community’s Club – 956 Scott Ave.
