John Allison Elementary School students wore pink shirts and neon bracelets to support Pink Shirt Anti-bullying Day on Feb. 29.
Both elementary and high school students in Princeton learned how to handle and prevent bullying.
Pink Shirt Day began in 2007 when two Nova Scotia students bought 50 pink shirts to support a student who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school.
The two Grade 12 students went to a discount store to buy the shirts to hand out to classmates, who wore the shirts to school the next day in support.
