Kids versus firefighters getting drenched and having fun

The epic Penticton Firefighters water fight was the coolest place to be Thursday evening.

Hundreds of kids and parents turned out on the sports fields of Penticton Secondary armed with waterguns and buckets.

The Penticton firefighters, including chief Larry Watkinson were armed with fire hoses and water spouting out from their ladder truck.

It was hard to decide who was having more fun — the firefighters or the kids.

Kids got to try out the hose and drench firefighters and vice versa.

The water fight went from 6 to 8 p.m.
