More than 30 kids took part in one-day flying program put on by COPA for Kids at the Princeton Airport May 6.

They had the chance to learn about aviation and experience being in the cockpit of an airplane in flight.

“This was a great learning experience. A lot of the children hadn’t been in an airplane before, and definitely not in a small plane,” said Coun. Fred Armitage.

The program was put on by the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association.
