Sr. Girls Volleyball team to host Valleys

The Senior Girls volleyball team has been busy sending spikes, bunts and serves that have kept their opponents on the defense. Their great play has been not only noticed, but is resulting in the Valley Finals coming to town for the first time in many years. The girls encourage the community to come out and support them this coming weekend. Watch the electronic message board at town hall for game times. - photo submitted

Sr. Girls Volleyball Host Valleys November 18 & 19

The Sr. Girls have had a great season so far winning matches against AA, AAA, and AAAA schools.  They also travelled to Kamloops to place first in the St.Ann’s tournament and took fourth place at Vernon.  This past week they entered playoffs meeting up with Osoyoos first to beat them 3-1 and then the next day travelled to Keremeos to determine who would host this year’s Valley playoffs.  Princeton came up with big win defeating Keremeos in the fifth game of the match 15-6.  The players worked hard to achieve part one of their goal for the season: host Valleys and then head to Provincials.  The Sr team consists of the following players: Jessie Badger, Morgan Reichert, Amy Brewer, Kelsey Crawford, Julia Reichert, Bree Musgrove, Kirsten Haayer, Kendra Leiding, Courtney Hassell and Angie Marshall, they are coached by Carol Skinner.

Come out and cheer the team on this weekend November 18 and 19, game times will be posted on the info board outside the city hall.
