Davidson, Myrtle Jean
March 17, 1924 - August 27, 2011
Our dearest mother, Myrtle Jean Davidson passed away comfortably at Ridgewood Lodge on August 27, 2011.
Myrtle, a veteran of the RCAF was a wonderful homemaker who took great pride in raising her four children. Myrt enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting and gardening as well as fishing and camping. She especially loved visits from family and friends and a good game of crib. Her infectious laugh will be remembered by all who knew her.
Myrtle is predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Jack in 2004 and her son Richard in 2001.
She will be sadly missed by her children Sharon (Ken), Wayne (Alice), Barry (Cheryl), her seven granddaughters and spouses and her eight great grandchildren.
She will also be missed by her sister Lila (Tino) Liberatore, sisters-in-law Gwen Rose and Mary Davidson, brother-in-law Evan (Elaine) Davidson, numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
The family sends its sincere thanks to the loving, caring care-aids, nurses and staff at Ridgewood Lodge, moms second home, we couldn’t have done it without all of you. Thank You.
We are also very grateful to Marg Eyre and Gail Davidson for all their generous help and support.
There will be no funeral service at Myrt’s request.
