Annie Goebel, longtime resident of Tulameen, B.C., passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Ridgewood Lodge, at the age of 82. She is survived by her loving son; Mark (Cheryl) daughter Merilyn (George) and daughter Betty.
Annie is also survived by her eight loving grandchildren, ten loving great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter, as well as many
nephews, nieces and friends.
She was sadly predeceased by her loving husband of forty-three years, Matthew (Bud) and her youngest son Russell, her three brothers Bert, Bill and Alex
and her two sisters; Jessie and Lillian.
Annie was born in Cadowin, Alberta, her family moved to Richmond BC in the 30’s. She married the boy next door on March 23, 1946. She fished her own gill-netter on the Fraser River with her beloved sister-in-law Christine. Among being a wonderful mother she did many jobs such as laying out surgery trays at Vancouver General Hospital, and worked for years as a homemaker in Princeton.
She had many tales to tell.
Annie will be sadly missed by her
family and always in our hearts.
