Police are looking for the public’s assistance identifying a man suspected of trying to break into a home during daylight hours.
Cpl. Brian Evans of the Keremeos RCMP detachment said police were called to a home in the 3200 block on River Road just outside of Keremeos Monday morning after a shorter white man in his early 20s tried to break into a home.
“The owner had just gone to work and his sister was on the property and confronted the man. He had an accomplice waiting for him down the road in a black pickup truck and they headed to the Ashnola Road, red bridge area,” he said.
“If anyone has information we encourage them to contact police.”
