Small Business Shadow Minister, MP Dan Albas (Central Okanagan-Similkameen-Nicola) is hosting a town hall for the small business community in the region.

The Finance Minister and the Liberal government have set forth changes to the tax system regarding Canadian Controlled Personal Corporations. Albas believes these changes will affect many small businesses, professionals and farmers across the region.

“As the Federal Government contemplates unprecedented tax changes,” said MP Dan Albas. “Now is a critically important time for hard working, tax paying small businesses owners and professionals to share their views.”

This town hall is open to all who want to share their stories and views on how these tax changes will affect them, their businesses and their entrepreneurial aspirations. Albas will be at the Days Inn & Conference Centre in Penticton (152 Riverside Dr.) on Friday, Sept. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m.
