A Keremeos man was seriously injured in a motorcycle collision Tuesday June 2, on Highway 3.

The accident occurred near the Fast Gas station, when the 62-year-old’s motorcycle came into collision with an SUV making a left hand turn off the highway, according to Keremeos RCMP detachment commander Chad Parsons.

The driver of the SUV was not injured, but was transported to hospital as a precaution.

Police continue to investigate the crash.

Parsons urged drivers to be aware of bikes on the road.

“Motorcycle season is in full swing with the hot weather. Be on the look out because they can be easy to miss.”
