A fruit stand was destroyed by fire Sunday night.

“Very small fruit stand, no power to the building,” he said.

The fire broke out at about 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Kurtz Road and Highway 3.

The stand was completely engulfed in flames.

Twelve firefighter worked the fire for about three-and-a-half hours.

“Everything was good. The wind was blowing the right way and we were at an intersection so we had lots of room to set up and work off the highway,” he said.

Bosscha said there were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
