Cheers for Princeton’s Christmas grocery angel

Paying it forward

To the editor

Something completely unexpected and wonderful happened to me yesterday. I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things, and got talking to a gentleman I had never seen before, who was waiting in front of me in line. He paid for his things, and then told the cashier: “Hey, it’s the Christmas season. I’ll get her’s too.” Then he paid for my grocery order.

Thank you. You’re a very rare, kind soul. I pray God gives you many awesome blessings, for you have blessed me, and when I can, I will pay it forward.
