The battle over the Princeton caboose continued Thursday in small claims court, but no resolution in the matter was recorded.

Members of the Vermilion Trails Society and municipal mangers appeared before Judge Ellen Burdett for a settlement conference.

The conference was adjourned, but no trial date was set. Settlement conferences are closed to the public and press.

The trail society is suing the Town of Princeton for $35,000 for damages it claims are related to the town moving the caboose on the Kettle Valley Rail Trail.
