Vermilion Trails Society president Kim Maynard and VTS superstar handyman Jim Short were caught in the act doing repairs to the caboose near the Weyerhaeuser Roundhouse last week.

VTS chugs ahead with caboose restoration

“We will just keep plugging away at it,” stated VTS president Kim Maynard

The Vermilion Trails Society has been a very determined group.  One of the projects they strongly wish to see completely is the restoration of the old caboose which sits beside the KVR trail.  “Jim has done a lot of work on this caboose and we are very close to the painting stage,” stated VTS president Kim Maynard.  “We will just keep plugging away at it.”
